Meatballs with mashed potatoes, cream sauce and western cucumber

Finally time for the classic Swedish home cooking meatballs with cream sauce, mashed potatoes and Västerås cucumber. I have gone to the cucumber stronghold Västerås and invited future superstar Fredrik Rinaldo to the grill. Together we cook, drink Champagne and talk entrepreneurship in this almost hour-long episode from a sunny marina by the pearl of Mälaren.

Ingredients
  

Noisette

  • 500 gram ground beef
  • 500 gram mixed mince
  • 0,5 dl breadcrumbs
  • 2 yellow onions
  • 1 dl cream
  • 3 tbsp ox fund
  • 3 tbsp anchovy spade
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • salt & black pepper

Mashed potatoes

  • 2 kg boiled floury potatoes
  • 3-4 dl milk
  • 150 gram butter
  • grated nutmeg
  • salt & white pepper

Stir-fried lingonberries

  • 250 gram frozen lingonberries
  • 1 dl powdered sugar
  • one splash Champagne

Västerås cucumber
