Raw crab with shredded entrecote and cheese sauce is just one of many toppings for a crispy raw crab. Quick, easy and filling to suit any sunny sports holiday. I top raw crab number two with creamy salmon mixture, capers and red onion. As good as it sounds. Or maybe even better.

  • 1,2 kg firm potatoes

  • Rapeseed oil to fry in

Salmon & creme fraiche

  • 200 gram Hot smoked salmon
  • 2 dl creme fraiche
  • 2 tsp dried dill
  • salt & black pepper

Entrecote & cheese sauce

  • 400 gram entrecote
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 1 fresh Chili
  • 2 tbsp jalapeño
  • 1 Can cheese sauce or best of all your own as follows:
  • 4 dl milk
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 150 gram Cheddar cheese
  • 150 gram aged orange cheese e.g. Red Storm
  • 2 tsp paprika powder
  • salt & black pepper

One of my most spectacular and memorable moments at the grill was on a cool autumn day outside Skellefteå. There I met the hunter Roger, who very generously shared both deer and also some nice grouse. Join us in this week's episode where we cook both rib tarts on crackling bread and tjædjergryta on a griddle. Of course, we washed down the delicacies with a barrel-aged blueberry wine from Västerbotten.

In an almost full storm, the camera woman fills freshly baked tortilla bread with fried shrimp, guacamole, salsa and grated mozzarella. As a nice little bonus, there will also be a dessert in the form of a strawberry pie, and that too cooked on a griddle. New Year's menu 2022

Finally, New Year's Eve and Christmas are far behind us. For me and the Camera Woman, New Years has always been associated with good food and bubbly drinks at home together or with good friends. Very rarely have we celebrated out at a restaurant (apart from the first date at Valand in Gothenburg exactly 30 years ago) because the best food is always prepared at home by the stove or grill.
This year's New Year's menu, which we had the opportunity to record in the middle of the sea somewhere in the Caribbean, is both classic and luxurious, but very easy to prepare. For starters there will be a "Swedish lobster toast" which is a mix of Toast Skagen and roe roe toast but stuffed with freshly cooked lobster. What's better than washing down the glory with chilled French bubbles.
For the main course, another easy-to-cook classic is served, such as whiskey flambéed tournedos with pepper sauce and raw steak, as well as butter-fried asparagus and tomato. Of course, a suitable French red wine from Chateauneuf-du-Pape and Alain Jaume (Systembolaget Nr 2845) is served.
Finally, we would like to thank you for all the appreciation we received during the year. In this week's episode, I offer a real Småland classic that has found its way across the county border to the rest of our elongated country. It will be old-fashioned lard strips from Moheda, which I serve with dill stewed potatoes, capers and beetroot.
In the episode, I also offer clips from Chark SM in Gothenburg, which I was invited to last week. In addition to the manufacturer of Sweden's best butter band 2018, I also meet two other winners from Vindelns rökeri and Nacka köttprodukter. Whole roasted Entrecôte with truffle béarnaise sauce on browned butter

Imagine a whole roast entrecôte from a really happy cow served with a hand-beaten béarnaise on browned butter and grated truffle in. Enjoy together with some raw roasted root vegetables and a glass (or two) of wine from Italian Tommasi. For me, it's really nice party food that you can cook at home with reasonable ease, as long as the sauce doesn't burst. Should it now happen, you can easily save it, which I show in the video. If you eat the corresponding dish at the pub, it will easily cost 500.- including a glass of wine. If you cook it at home in the kitchen or on the grill, it only costs a quarter of the price and twice as good as well. Or like a takeaway pizza...Enjoy your weekend my friends

While waiting for a cabbage dolme episode, I run the quick version of pretty much the same dish. Another real home classic that is also perfectly cooked on the grill. Useful and cheap but above all a really good and filling dish.
