Oktoberfest food on a grill

Together with Edward Blom, I cook the really classic Oktoberfest food on the grill. With the sauerkraut, you serve pork legs and a variety of German sausages and dumplings.
For dessert, enjoy German apple pancakes that are fried in lots of butter and oil and then rolled in cinnamon sugar.

  • 1 rimmed pork leg
  • 20 allspice
  • 4 bay leaf

Sauerkraut - Saurkrat

  • 500 gram can of sauerkraut
  • 2 yellow onions
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 2 dl ox fund
  • 2 dl beer
  • 1 dl cream
  • 1 tbsp coarse grain mustard
  • 1 tsp paprika powder
  • salt
  • black pepper

Apple pancakes - Apfelküchle

  • 4 apples
  • 2 egg
  • 2 dl sugar
  • 50 gram butter
  • 4 dl flour
  • 1 dl milk
  • 1 dl beer
  • 1 krm salt
  • plenty of oil and butter to fry in
  • 1 dl sugar
  • 2 tbsp cinnamon
