Oktoberfest food on a grill
Together with Edward Blom, I cook the really classic Oktoberfest food on the grill. With the sauerkraut, you serve pork legs and a variety of German sausages and dumplings. For dessert, enjoy German apple pancakes that are fried in lots of butter and oil and then rolled in cinnamon sugar.Have a nice meal

Ingredients
Pork leg - Eisbein
- 1 rimmed pork leg
- 20 allspice
- 4 bay leaf
Sauerkraut - Saurkrat
- 500 gram can of sauerkraut
- 2 yellow onions
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp honey
- 2 dl ox fund
- 2 dl beer
- 1 dl cream
- 1 tbsp coarse grain mustard
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- salt
- black pepper
Apple pancakes - Apfelküchle
- 4 apples
- 2 egg
- 2 dl sugar
- 50 gram butter
- 4 dl flour
- 1 dl milk
- 1 dl beer
- 1 krm salt
- plenty of oil and butter to fry in
- 1 dl sugar
- 2 tbsp cinnamon
