I oiled all sides twice before screwing the brackets on, then I took the oiled cloth one more time on the top and edges. They have now been in the shed for a couple of days. I will check tomorrow to see if there are any stains that have soaked in extra well.

Very quick and easy to shop from you.

I will build a rollable "table" with a floor of fiber cement and tiles that the hob can stand on. This is because I have it on a balcony with wooden decking.
